A GUIDE TO COLOR RAYS/FLAMES,
THEIR MEANINGS, & USAGES
The following is gathered information
from various websites & publications regarding color therapy.
Our most important energy source is light, and the entire spectrum of colors
is derived from light. Sunlight, which contains all the wavelengths, consists
of the entire electromagnetic spectrum that we depend on to exist on this
planet. Light is the only energy we can
see, and we see it in the form of color.
Light flows through our eyes and triggers hormone production, which influences
our entire complex biochemical system. This biochemical system then affects our
being. And light does not travel alone. Light travels with other energies as
shown below.
We know that each color found in the visible light spectrum has its own
wavelength and its own frequency, which produces a specific energy and has a
nutritive effect.

We all have seven subtle bodies or levels of consciousness, so there are seven chakras and seven major rays. These seven bodies all interpenetrate and are joined to the physical at the seven power centers as chakras in the spine. Each chakra attracts to itself a predominant color ray which is necessary for the harmony of the complete individual. Each chakra absorbs a special current of vital energy through its particular color ray from the physical environment and from higher levels of consciousness. The seven colors emphasize consciousness and the evolution of consciousness. It is a practical and philosophical approach to self transformation. In some ways its approach is deeply metaphysical while at the same time it constitutes a profoundly practical understanding of the psychology of people.
For each organism and system of the body there is a particular color that stimulates, and another particular color that inhibits the workings of that organ or system. By knowing the action of the different colors upon the different organs and systems of the body, one can apply the correct color that will tend to balance the action of any organ or system that has become abnormal in its functioning or condition. The process of living in a healthy state involves a proper balance within the body of all the color energies.
Color healing is not only a physical but a spiritual force, and so forms a link between our physical bodies and the finer forces or vibrations of higher levels of consciousness and spiritual growth. The theory on which color healing is based assumes that everyone is individual in their requirements of special colors and that health of mind and body is based upon the body obtaining a balanced flow, according to their requirements. That is, sufficient to enable the body to rebuild, restore and revitalize every organ in order to maintain its health and freedom from disease.
The meanings and usages for each of the following were gifted to me in meditation and visions. You will find a plethora of information either agreeing or disagreeing with what I have listed here. Use your best judgment, feel free to blend and combine the information which resonates within you. My best advice for using color rays and flames is to practice working within their energy.

THE RED RAY – FIRST RAY OF DIVINE WILL. Red
is the ray of strength, and the planet’s most absorbed color. The inner battle to create Oneness within the
self. The ability to pioneer new paths to God. Development of personal power
that is aligned with the Highest Source. Creation,
faith, valor, determination and protection. Encourages one to abandon
limitations and preconceived notions of ourselves and others; promotes us to
discover who we really are. Teaches the passion of love, sex, and every
positive thing life has to offer, as well as self compassion. Transmutes feelings of inadequacy and fear
into self confidence and grounding. Overcoming
fear of all types. Tapping into the
Universal abundant supply of material blessings. Maintains inner focus on responsibilities and
manifests the energy of the “spiritual warrior.” To lead, not to follow; the desire to
overcome and master whatever situation is placed before you. This
Ray predominately represents the masculine energies of Creation: Outward
focused, dynamic, action-oriented, and powerful. Physical
strength and healing.

THE
THE YELLOW RAY – THIRD RAY OF ACTIVE INTELLIGENCE. This Ray predominately represents the
feminine or Divine Mother energies of Creation: introspective, intuitive,
nurturing, and as well as patient. The plane of Spirit and higher Mental/Casual
Mind. The least abundant ray in our planetary aura. Contacting entities in different planes and
dimensions. Spiritual surrender. Translating abstract and philosophical
concepts into terms that can be understood by all. Raises the atoms of the body to a new healthy
vibrational level, in turn impacting the etheric bodies. Helps to calm the chaos of
everyday life with joy, assuredness, and optimism. Moving through day to day activities with
faith intact. Implementing knowledge to
embrace ‘mundane’ life and the changes within it. Detoxifying the physical
body, and regulating the body’s functions.
Overcoming exhaustion and depression.
Embracing the adventures the future holds. Releasing anger towards the self and the

THE GREEN RAY – FOURTH RAY OF BEAUTY, HARMONY, AND
ARTISTIC ENDEAVOR. The green ray is the
light of harmony through conflict and struggle, and works within the Emotional
Plane/body and the intuition of the Higher Self. Taming the ego and experiencing ‘beingness’
through the emotional body. Overcoming
grief, shame, fear, and despair with peace.
Connection to the laws of nature and the Earth, as well as to the self
and humanity. Morality. Moving beyond melodramas and mood swings. Stimulates growth. Tapping
into the Universal supply of material blessings. Seeing the beauty of the world and self. Artistic creation from the heart; removes
writers block, etc. Helps heal broken
bones, rebuilds tissue of all kinds; eases the pain of pregnancy. Artisans/Craftsmen.
THE BLUE RAY – FIFTH RAY OF CONCRETE KNOWLEDGE. This Ray is connected to the Mental
Plane/body. Regulates and circulates
impulses / habits. Breaking through
confusion, scattered perceptions, and negative patterns to discipline the mind
towards higher thought. The ability to
differentiate between truth and illusion.
Opens the mind to new productive habits.
Connecting the spirit body to the physical and mental bodies with
understanding. Communication and expression of the self, within words and
spirit. Using a systematic process to
bring metaphysical truth into concrete reality. Healing
of blood issues, especially heart conditions, as the blue ray helps the blood
to flow through our veins. The thyroid

THE INDIGO RAY - SIXTH RAY OF DEVOTION AND IDEALISM.
The indigo ray’s energies are focused within the subconscious mind and the
Astral Plane. This is a gentle Ray that
instills a desire for tenderness, peace, and tranquility. Moving beyond desires and will, this is the
ray of truth and “the Way.” Considered to be the ray
of Christianity, the “sinner turned saint,” and the outgoing ray energy on
planet earth. Overcoming the physical
will of the world to express higher ideals.
Developing intuition, discovering the mysteries of humanity and the
deeper meaning of day to day activities.
Exposes self limitations within relationships. Enhancing belief systems and faith. Inspiration of all kinds. Lights the path of intent, promoting inner
hearing. Taking the initiative, making the effort to live life to its
fullest. Answers to the paradox of existence,
embracing spirituality. Separates the
line between genius and insanity. The subconscious meeting the conscious. Helps heal nervous system issues, headaches,
throat and ear issues. Crusaders.
THE VIOLET RAY – SEVENTH RAY OF FREEDOM, REDEMPTION
AND PURIFICATION. This is the Ray of the Violet Transmuting Flame, and the most
predominant ray on Earth at this time. The violet flame, or lavender ray,
transmutes anything negative that is lodged anywhere in your spiritual or
physical being. This includes everything from pieces of self-hatred to physical
viruses. This process transmutes the
negative energy into positive energy and restores it to its native purity. This is the Ray of invocation, manifesting anything
in the highest form and of service. The qualities of mercy, forgiveness,
justice, freedom, joy and transmutation / transformation. Inner poise and
grace. Adds balance and harmony within
the seven major color rays, as the violet ray changes lower frequencies of energy into
higher frequencies. Cures
insomnia, promoting peaceful, blissful sleep. Calms the nervous system,
activates and balances the pineal and pituitary glands. Increases awareness in meditative and dream

THE WHITE RAY – PURITY AND TRUTH. Cooperation,
communication, agreement, understanding.
The white ray works with the whole being. As the white ray contains all colors of the
spectrum, it can be used with any intention.
Combines the whole self to the whole of creation. The power of Infinite Spirit. Transition from the physical world into new
planes of existence. Aligning one with
their goals. True harmony and
balance. Integrates the emotional,
spiritual, mental and physical bodies.
Connecting to Infinite Spirit and the Higher Self. Balancing karma. Awakening awareness. Peace and comfort. Healing of all kinds and types.
THE PINK RAY – UNCONDITIONAL DIVINE LOVE.
Embracing self love, and the selfless love of the world and
humanity. Personal attachments in
significant others/family relationships.

Connecting with Spirit Guides and angels. Expressing feelings and emotions without fear
or embarrassment. Knowing your place
within the Universe. Releasing

THE BLACK RAY – EMBRACING THE MYSTERIES. Connecting
with archangels. Reaching the silence
and peace of God. The Feminine
mysteries, ancient crone wisdom that comes with age. Beyond all bounds of time and space. All and nothing. Microcosm, macrocosm. Grounding within the physical and spiritual
self. Power, magick, masculine and

THE BROWN RAY – LEVELS OF EXISTENCE. Discovering

physical home comforts; connecting to the spiritual home. Discovering the tangible sanctuary.
THE SILVER RAY – THE GODDESS. Teaches peaceful
persistence and non-resistance to change.
The feminine energy of the Universe.
Helps heal diseases of the lungs, heart, blood, mind, and spirit. Female
empowerment, i.e. “everywoman is a goddess.”
The natural ebb and flow of the Universe, and matching its rhythm.
THE GOLD RAY – THE INFINITE. This ray has a base
masculine energy. Attainment, prosperity,
abundance. Aggressive healing of all
illness and ailments, in all areas of body and spirit. Balance and harmony of the soul, the body,
Higher Self, and Infinite Spirit.
Bridging the gap between self and the Divine. Excellence and success in every
endeavor. Brilliance and inspiration.
