Pulling Energy from Earth and Sky-

Pulling energy is a two part process: first to allow any lingering negative thoughts to flow harmlessly away, and second to provide yourself a stable link while you are working. One way is to start by connecting to the Earth through your feet. See it as a cord of energy from your body that reaches down into the Earth, and a similar cord that reaches up to you from the Earth, with the two cords weaving together. Through this cord allow any energy buildup to drain down into the Earth, knowing that it will be harmlessly dispersed, and feel the stability of the Earth. Now, allow the energy of the earth to flow up into you, filling your body with a green or soil-colored light. To pull Sky energy, follow the same procedure, except the cords extend from the sky, and the top of your head.

 

 

Heaven and Earth Technique –

 To pull energy from sky and earth. Stand with your hands on your thighs, fingers spread. With a deep inhalation through your nose, circle your arms out, having your hands meet at chest level, fingers touching in a prayerful position. Exhale through the nose. Now, with a deep inhalation through the nose, separate your arms from one another, stretching one high above your head and flattening your hand back, as if pushing something above you. Stretch the other arm down, as if pushing something towards the earth. Now, envision a bright white or golden light extending down from heaven. This light enters through the palm of your hand, flows through your arm, and fills your body. Envision a bright white, green or silver light reaching up from the earth; this light enters through your lower hand, extends through the arm, and fills your body. Continue your deep breathing, holding this position for as long as possible. On an exhale through the nose, return your hands to prayer position. Repeat the stretching movements, switching the arm that raises and the arm that lowers. Do one or more additional lifts on each side. Coming out of this pose, as you bring your arms back down into prayer position, allow your body to fall over at the waist. Allow your arms to hang down, swinging freely. Take a deep cleansing breath. Slowly return to standing position, with a backwards roll of the shoulders.
